The little man is now a toddler. Jason and I have been arguing about whether Milo is truly walking or not for a while (i.e. since he was 8 months old), but now that Milo can cross rooms, Jason has given in and admitted he's walking. He's clapping, learning to high-5, throwing the soccer ball around, and making a wide range of sounds, although no intentional words yet. He likes to open cabinets and drawers and open and close the toilet lid. He's unrolled the toilet paper rolls. Trying to keep him away from the cat food is tough. He particularly enjoys walking around while waiving cat toys around, which little kitty Max seems to like as well. Since we have the Kinect on the x-box, he seems to think grunting at the tv is the thing to do. We all seem (please) to finally be getting over the endless cold(s) we've had most of the Fall and Winter. Milo had a bit of pinkeye at one point. He's also got (most) of a lower tooth in, his first. He's 18 lbs, 28.5 or so inches tall. He's just started the "survival" course at Swimbabes and is now going twice a week thanks to Jason and Grammy Kathe, who put him through his paces.
Fergus moved up from "preschool 1" to "preschool 2" at the YMCA. This makes him happy because he is now in classroom 5, which is his favorite number. I found out about the move because I went to pick up his stuff and found he no longer had a cubby in classroom 4. He announced yesterday that his favorite color is now red, instead of green, but he likes blue and purple and ..... He also announced that I had ruined his life, although I'm still not sure why. We had a long conversation last night about who he was going to marry; I think he wants it arranged as soon as possible. He loves superheroes, including Ironman, the PowderPuff girls, and the Power Rangers.
